Carol and Clyde, Thank you for your thoughts - It just seems impossible to me that two very active men, with large families and businesses apparently arrived by way of a virgin birth - or some phenomenon . I keep thinking of quitting the Rogers and getting on with the Stewarts, but some tidbit of the Rogers always interferes and keeps me intrigued. The Rogers have not been a "close" family so I am unaware of any relatives who would qualify for DNA. My Mother's brother ( Ivan b. 1910) died many years ago and had two girls.. Please let me know if you have any great ideas to trace. Dorothy
What is on the census records of these two ROGERS men? There should be some info that would get you back a ways. Perhaps that is how you got them back to Saratoga County? I will see if I still have the info I did have on Saratoga County & see what I have. I know there was some info on one family that gave some info on their descendants.
