I don't know if Alexander is part of this family. He was born in MO, so it is a possibility. Other names in this extended family include Jones Rogers and Doswell Rogers. My Adenstone Rogers was born about 1825 in AR; he married Frances Jane Slinkard, whose family had also moved from Cape Girardeau MO about the same time. His father may be the Adenstone Rogers who married Mary Carden in Pulaski Co AR 1824; my Adenstone was living with a Carden family in 1850. I have an Ellis line from Greene Co TN (Huldah Ellis m. John Neece). Huldah was the daughter of James Ellis who died in Lincoln Co TN about 1817. I don't know if my Ellis lines connect to those in Conway Co.
