He married Ann Eliza Hart of Port Jefferson NY in 1852. She died in San Francisco in 1899. He later married an Emma Till of Philadelphia. One of the online books on the Rogers families mentions this link, but leaves out my 2nd Grandfather James Henry Rogers born 1860 of Williamsburg area of Brooklyn NY. This is presenting a big discontinuity in my geneology. Ann Eliza (as A.E. Smith) lived in 1880 in St. Paul MN with James Henry. I can't find any marriage, birth, divorce or other information between the 1852 marriage and the 1880 census. I find Charles Dennison in the 1870 census in Philadelphia, but no mention anywhere of Ann Eliza or James Henry Has anyone looked into any of this?
