She married John Kleindienst may 31 1856 in Crawford county Ohio. She filed for divorce in Crawford county December 5 1865, then married James W Rodgers December 24 1865 in Crawford county Ohio. I have no death date on her. I am guessing here, that she died in Auglaize county Ohio after 1900. I believe her parents are: George Wilhelm Bickle 1802 - 1857 and Christina Route Kraut 9 Aug 1805 -1899. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: kathyjrabon Surnames: Rogers, Rabon Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.rogers/10952.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Since I posted this query, I have found additional Census records for this family and have located the name of the cemetery in which they are buried. It is located in Marion County, but I do not know the physical address or the name of the township. I have yet to figure out who either of their parents were, but according to the Census records, both individuals and the mother and father of both individuals, was born in South Carolina. It looks like David and Elizabeth spent the majority of their adult lives in Marion County. Though, they did live in Horry County at one point in time. I neither know why they moved there, nor why they moved back. I can find no middle initial for David, but Elizabeth's is listed in two places as being "C". Whether or not that would be her middle or maiden name, I'm not sure. The only child of theirs that I know anything about is Sallie W. Rogers, who married Matthew A. Rabon and died in Horry County. According to a cemetery transcription, David was born 02-05-1845 and died 12-23-1923. Elizabeth was born 12-15-1838 and died 02-18-1927. I'd really like to learn who each of their parents were and where they were from, but would be delighted to learn anything more about any of the family. I've only been able to go back to 1870, at which time David would have been about 25 and Elizabeth would have been about 32. Author: kathyjrabon Surnames: Rogers, Martin, Sarvis, Henderson, Prince Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.rogers/10951/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Looking for info about Rogers Cemetery, specifically the identity of the sixteen persons whose graves are currently marked only by orange flags. I've been told there were wooden markers in the past, but these are no longer present. Cemetery is located off of Sarvis Road in Galivants Ferry at the edge of a field. A chain link fence surrounds the .2 acres, and a wooden placard reads "In Memory of Daisy H. Rogers - Martin Cemetery - Established 1878." Twenty three marked graves with the surnames Henderson, Martin, Prince, Rogers, and Sarvis are located on the property. My connedtion is the Princes. Also interested in learning who might have been the owner in 1878. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
