These two Rogers men were in the household of John Rogers/Rodgers in the 1850 Smith Co., TN census. They were at the bottom of the census listing, not in order of age for John's children. William, age 20, b. SC, laborer James, age 23, b. TN, laborer I am quite sure William is not a son of John; however, it is possible that James is. No record has been found for William in Smith Co. after 1850. James apparently married Annie Williams 19 Nov 1865 in Smith Co. Annie Rogers was in the 1870 DeKalb Co., TN census with son John age 3, living with the Byrd Sexton family as a domestic servant. Thanks for any help on this. Sandra

Looking for Robert and Elsie Fisher who submitted the George Rogers family for the Wright Co. MO county history book in 1993. George was born ca 1794 in VA. Moved to KY and married Frances Hicks whose mother was of the VA/KY Combs line. They later moved to Jackson Co. IN, briefly to IL and then to MO. They are enumerated on the 1850 Wright Co. MO census.
