Hi Listers, I am looking for information on the RODGERS/ROGERS family of Shenandaoh County, VA. William RODGERS/ROGERS came to the area before 1750 from Pennsyvania. About that time there was a Thomas and a James RODGERS/ROGERS. Later in the century and in the early 1800s their appeared a Robert and a John RODGERS/ROGERS in the county. I would apprecitate any help with the RODGERS/ROGER family of Shenandoah County, VA. There could be some of this family living, in this time frame, over the county line in Frederick County, VA. Best regards, Chocy

Seeking descendants of Rhoda Rogers who married Jacob Foster, Jr. in Campbell Co. KY in the late 1790's. They went down the Ohio River to Cape Girardeau ca 1799. By 1818 they appear in the Lawrence Co. area of AR. Believe that they may have actually been living in New Madrid Co. MO when AR Territory was being formed. Jacob appears to have died as Mrs. Rhoda Foster married in Pulaski Co.in 1824. Her new husband was Christopher Capeley/Caperly/?. Wish to find the Foster issue of Rhoda Rogers and Jacob Foster. Her father was one of the many Adenstone Rogers from VA. Thanks Eleanor
Wish to contact anyone working on the name Adenston Rogers. He/they are in Pulaski, Conway, Pope, Yell, and Bradley counties of AR during the time frame 1800 to 1860. Compiling a profile for men of this name. Any additional data is welcome. Thanks. Eleanor

I've seen the name Peleg Rogers on this site, and in several other places quite a few times.Often wondered if there could be connection to my (wife's) Rogers line. We, and other family searchers have hit brick wall w/ Wiley N. Rogers, b. 1773 in NC. m. Laurana Boswell, prbably in Miss. Eventually migrated to AK in company w/ Gray Little Manning & Davenport families. Now have many relatives in TX & AK. If anyone sees any connections here we would all be most grateful to know of them. Glenn Grandfield
