I don't recognize the names. Some of my Rogers line was around Simon in what would become Love County by 1900. Not too far from Sulphur. P J Rogers and his youngest son Tom. Some of the older children are unaccounted for but they would have been 40-60 in 1900. Could be connected though. In 1762 Doswell Rogers entered 400a on Crab Tree branch of Snow Creek which was in Halifax Co., but recorded in Pittsylvania Co. VA. In 1763 he entered another 400a next to the original tract. In 1785 Henry Rogers was purchasing 100a of land on Crab Tree branch of Snow Creek and the land was situated in Henry Co. VA. Does anyone have land transactions for these two Rogers or their own Rogers on Crab Tree branch of Snow Creek? I am not sure just where this land would lie today since other counties were created later. Thanks. Eleanor

Good morning, About once, or twice, a year I send out a plea for information regarding the origins of ANTHONY ROGERS, husband of Zilpah (Holcomb) Rogers, father of James, Anthony, John and Edward. His family, from 1760 forward, is well known to me. However, starting with the first Anthony Rogers (1760) and moving backward has created the dead end. Hello, I am searching for the parents of Thankful M. Rogers born New York in 1814 married Alva Steadman or Stedman in Byron, Genesee County, N.Y. in 1832 came to Ohio, Amboy Township in 1833. I have seen the full text of his will and it confirms her name and gives the names of his children.
