Charles Partridge married to Mary Lane. They had a son Alfred Partridge who was born abt 1860. He came to the states and married Rosa Elma Smith born abt 1860 in LaSalle County Illinois. I am also searching for any information on the Smith Family who were also from England. William Smith and Frances Rogers were the parents of Rosa Elma Smith. They also had 2 other children that I know of (Charlotte born abt 1855 and Fred born abt 1858). William Smith was born abt 1820 and Frances Rogers born abt 1825. And Last but not least I am searching for any information on the family of Arthur Jones born 5/1867 in England and arrived in the states in 1887 when he was about 11 years old. I'm hoping that someone may know the parents of Arthur Jones. Arthur Jones was the 2nd husband to Rosa Smith/Partridge and these two were my Great grandparents. They had two children (Laura Mae Jones born abt 1889 and Horace J! ones born 12/1892) and were found in the 1900 Census living in Joliet Twp. Will County, Illinois . Any help on these families will be greatly appreciated.............Sincerely: Sandy sratl1@comcast.net

It could have been. Is that what it was called? The Rebellion? I had 3 relatives that served in the war and need to find a roster if I can figure out the name of the war.
