Does anyone have any information on Jane(t) Ro(d)gers supposedly born 25 Jan 1788 in Harrisburg, Dauphine County, Pennsylvania, married Jacob Ha(y)maker in 1810 in Pennsylvania, had five children, John Haymaker b.28 Mar 1811 in Perry Co., PA who married Elizabeth Johnson; Henry Oliver Hamaker b.6 Mar 1813 in Cumberland, PA who married Eleanor Harkless; William b. 23 Aug 1817 birthplace unknown who married Nancy Henderson; Mary Ann Hamaker b.15 Feb 1821 Perry Co., PA who married Ransom Counsil; David Hamaker b.1824/25 Morgan Co., OH who married Rebecca Rogers. >From various researchers I have heard that Jane may actually have been Janet or Jean or?, that she may have been Rogers or Rodgers, that her father may have been John or William, that her mother may have been Margaret Kelly, that she may have been Native American or her parents may have been, that she links to the American Humorist, Will Rogers. We know she died in 1873 possibly on her birthday 25 Jan in Marion County, Iowa near the town of Bellefontaine, while living with her daughter Mary Ann and Ransom Counsil (Council). Also looking for information on Rebecca Ro(d)gers who married David, the son of Janet (Ro(d)gers. Were they related? This line has several marriages of cousins and other near relatives. Or could this be the missing Rebecca, daughter of Enos Rogers of the Plymouth Meetinghouse (see below), sister to Mordicai whom I believe is one and the same with my Mordical Rogers. These are the three Ro(d)gers lines that I am researching. Larry G. Rogers, son of Gilbert George Rogers, son of Charles Howard Rogers, son of George Washington Rogers, son of Ashford Manley Rogers, son of Hiram Rogers, son of Mordical Rogers, possible son of Enos Rogers, son of Robert Rogers of Norriton Twshp, Montgomery Co., PA, son of Roger of Wales, son of Robert in Wales

Dear Wayne, Have you learned anything new. I have found the marriage of Robert and Elizabeth and the census in Brown Co. Tex. I have found more on Uncle Charlie Rogers. His daughter Annie married a Sherrell in Clovis, New Mexico and I believe they are in Amarillo. I found another letter in Mothers cards and a letter from Aunt Evelyn Kinnard told more about the family. I soon as a get it sorted out I will share it with you. I send an e-mail to the lady in the e-mail and will forward her answer to you when I get it. Have a wonderful 2004, looking forward to hearing from you.
