He was living in Newfoundland at the time. He was stationed there with the US Air Force. So when I was born he was an Airman who was a medic at the base hospital. I found his name listed in a book that I purchased so I know the proper spelling now. Anyway, he came to see me before he shipped back to the US when I was 9 months old. I searched for many years, finding a man I thought was my father. However, when I spoke with his best friend, I found out that he had never been in the Air Force. So at this point, all I know is that his name is Darrell D. Rogers, he was short in stature, and had red hair. He was a medic in the Air Force stationed with the 6600-6604 Northeast Air Command at the USAF hospital at Pepperrell Air Force Base in St. John's, Newfoundland in 1954-55. That may sound like a lot but that and 50 cents will get you a small bag of chips. M

Does it have any info about him on there? If your mother won't tell you anything maybe there is clues you might have over looked. Like where was she when they met? Where was she when she had you? Some Libraries have old telephone books for the area you think they were in and also have streetaddress info. They can help you with that at the Library. you can also check the S.S. Death index just in case he has passed. If you have anymore info I will try to help if I can. Theresa
