    3. HELLO MARY: MY GRANDMOTHER, WHO WAS A ROGERS, HAD DIABETES ALSO. I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT AT ABOUT AGE 45. YES, NO ONE SHOULD BE RUDE TO ANY OF US ABOUT THE CAPITAL LETTERS. BUT , I ALSO AGREE THAT THE LETTERS DO RUN TOGETHER. I FIND THAT IT IS HELPFUL AND MUCH BETTER IF A PERSON USES DOUBLE SPACE, IF THEY ARE USING ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. GOOL LUCK WITH YOUR GENEALOGY AND ALSO YOUR DIABETES. 3. Just a comment about eyesight.....In 2002 I had a series of eye operations involving cataracts and a "membrane" growing on the back of each eye.....Cataract surgery sure helped, but the thing was, I was able to use the computer and read the paper without glasses before the surgeries but not after!!!! With or without glasses... Strange huh? On my 6 months checkup with the surgeon I mentioned my problem..The Doc said I needed "computer glasses" and gave me an Rx....Got it filled and not only can I use the computer with clarity and read the paper but all those headaches from tilting my head up to read thru the bi-focals were gone......If you wear glasses I recommend "computer glasses"....The Doc said they're all the rage these days with computer users..... Sorry if your eyes are much worse giving you monumental reading problems...might also point out that most computer stores have a magnifier that fits over the entire screen with clips..... Old Hal from rainy Northern California...

I was the one who commented about the "all caps" to the list, and it was never meant as a criticism as I know that font sizes can be adjusted and that there is a magnifier for those who use it. 3. Mary, I am fortunate enough to have great vision (so far, that is - knock on wood) Yes, it is true that all CAPS is considered screaming, so now you know. :) BUT!!!! THE GOOD NEWS: HERE IS A LINK THAT WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO ADJUST YOUR AOL MAIL SO THAT IT WILL SHOW UP LARGER. http://www.aol.com/accessibility/accessibility_help/vision/members_who_have_ low_vision.html WE DID THAT FOR MY HUSBAND'S GRANDMOTHER, WHO IS 82 and also uses AOL, AND IT IS MUCH, MUCH EASIER FOR HER NOW. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU, AND NEXT TIME YOU POST TO THE LIST YOU WILL BE ABLE TO POST IN lowercase :) Isn't it nicer when someone helps instead of chastises? :) that is a smile in case you did not know. Just tip your head to to the left. Good luck!! 3. Where is the list admin who can explain to this person that ALL CAPS means that you are screaming at people and also to let him/her know that the person's message was posted on the ROGERS board that gateways messages to this list? It plainly states that 5 lines below the "scream" messsage. Click on Start, Programs, Accessories , Accesability then magnifier and click on it it will display about a 2 inch wide strip clear across the top of your screen. You can set the font to however large you want them and then wherever you point your cussor it will show in large letters so you can find it much better and easier to read.
