    1. Rodgers/Scott Rodgers
    2. Hi to everyone, I have been eagerly reading all your postings for nearly a year now and hoping that one day someone will come up with a Rodgers, Rogers or a Scott Rodgers somewhere in the world. Mine came from Norfolk, England. They are around the Southery, Feltwell Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth area in the 1800.s and up to 1901. I have traced back via my mother to my great great grandfather William Scott Rodgers. The family use all the above spellings with and without the Scott. On his marriage certificate to Ann Maria Nungill Edwards (another brickwall) in 1849, he names his father as William Benton, I have been unable to find him either. Basically I am in dire need of anyone who could shed light on my dilemma. Help, Please, anyone!!!!!!! I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and to everyone whether or not you celebrate Christmas a very happy and most of all a peaceful 2005 Pam Notman.

    3. Hello Pam, Merry Chrismas to you and your too. I hope this note finds y'all all doing well. As far as my Rodgers family or line goes (line of Dr. John Fleming Rodgers; Ky; 1827--1902), I have about decided that I must be the only descendent from my great grandfather. No, actually I do know one set of cousins on that side besides my 1st cousins, my great aunt Emma's people. But they know nothing as no one cared enough to learn anything from the ones that might have told them something. The last one who knew anything, who was known to have researched and logged it all down, my great aunt Emma's daughter I think, wound up with alzheimers and remembered nothing. She died a while back. I wonder if the descendents of his daughters from his first marriage that migrated to Texas know anything? I wish I could get in touch with them. Well, again, I also wish all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take care, David Edelen Millbrook, Al.. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Pnotman@aol.com> To: <RODGERS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 14, 2004 3:53 AM Subject: [RODGERS] Rodgers/Scott Rodgers > Hi to everyone, > > I have been eagerly reading all your postings for nearly a year now and > hoping that one day someone will come up with a Rodgers, Rogers or a Scott > Rodgers somewhere in the world. > > Mine came from Norfolk, England.
