I have a Rodgers family from Philadelphia that I too am searching for the given names of the family. My great grandmother was Ellen Rodgers. She never appears on paper until she gets married in 1870 to John McCrea. I have a possible connection that she had a brother named Patrick. I know they lived in Philly at one time and then moved to Chestnut Hill which is also part of Philadelphia. I have been searching for her parents names for almost 10 years now.
