LAND RECORDS - Vol. 6, p. 120 New Milford September 8 - 1748 (120) Josiah Rogers Deed Recorded To all people to whom these presents shall come, Greeting- Know ye that I William Rogers of New Haven Town and County and of the Colony of Connecticut in New England For the consideration of the full Sum Thirty pounds old tenor in Hand Received to my full Satisfaction of my Brother Josiah Rogers Junr of Branford in the County and Colony aforesaid: Have Given Granted Bargained Sold and confirm unto the Said Josiah Rogers Junr his Heirs and Assigns for ever one third part of the Right of Land that belonged to my Honoured Mother Ruth Rogers Late of Said Branford Deceased Lying in the TownShip or New Milford in said County it being one fourth part of the Right that was our Hon.
