Searching for info on Daniel ROGERS, Sr. who died 7/21/1809. He was a planter in the southern part of Colleton Co., Granville Dist., SC and settled there bef. 1760 acc. to his son's ARW records. His wife was Sarah ??? Daniel ROGERS, Sr. was living in Edgefield Dist., SC, in 1779; lived somewhere in the area of Chappells and Saluda, SC. He had two original land grants in 1761 and 1767. Daniel and Sarah had the following children: Daniel ROGERS,Jr. Hannah md. Wm. MELTON Elizabeth md. Elisha NELSON Susannah md. Isaac REED If there were other children, I have no record of them.
