Personally, I think it is a GOOD idea. Many lists have more than one type for SURNAMES. This one will enable interested folks to discuss only the CD names etc. I find on the "regular" ROGERS list that I find most postings are not in my line, and with this list, I can choose what line to inquire or post about. I haven't wanted to unsubscribe from the ROGERS-L for fear I might miss something, but it takes up a lot of time reading EMails that I can't use.
