I have a James Rogers b 1795 in TN(per 1850 Cherokee County, TX census) m. Mary Speaks called Polly b. also 1795 in NC. They m 6/1/1812 in Morgan Co. AL. Enlisted in war of 1812 in Huntsville Madison Co, had at least 2 sons in Lawrence Co. AL.---Moved to Saline Co. Ark in 1840 ( is this the same as your Saline Dist) then moved into Cherokee Co. TX 1846. My g-aunt states in a paper that James and Mary b. 1792 and 94 resp.
