Rogers researchers, I haven't submitted my brickwall lately, so here goes. I am looking for JOHN C. ROGERS who was born Apr. 11, 1811 in Warren or Bibb co., Ga. He owned property in Macon, Bibb co.,Ga. before 1930 which was sold at auction to pay a debt to William Blount. He was married in 1833 in Bibb Co., to ELIZABETH ALLEN THARP the daughter of JOHN ALLEN THARP and ELIZABETH HATCHER. The couple had about ten children who were all to the best of my knowledge born in Georgia. The family was in Crawford Co., Ga. in the 1850 census and in the Ouachita Pa., La. census in 1870. Known children were FRANKLIN, ERASTUS, JACKSON, MONETTA or MARIETTA, LEANNER, and WILBURN PAUL. I am looking for any information on his life in Georgia or his parents. Thanks for any help.
