Hmmm ( you ever wonder why?) I might be able to hand a small item I know to be true. Its like this You are doing research on (( your )) line , Ok so there is NO one in your line doing genealogy , or has a computer, much less on the internet any where . So you are basically stuck on your own , and with a air of hope some other Rogers researcher might post a glimmer of a find , or do a piece of research in another state where they live , just special for you . Lots of us have the same problem, * no one in our lines to share data* this makes research sort of cold duck but like any scavenger hunt you must persevere to win in the end and quitting will never do that. You must follow a few guides 1 USE the SUBJECT line to advertise (what) *you* want 2 post pertinent query that will help you 3 ask for help , sharing is a valuable tool Say Thanks we have broad shoulders and can accept praise <grin> 4 Never tell the list or the people on it any thing negative, they may decide not to share or help, much less even post some even leave - it might be a first cousin you will never meet ?
