I've enjoyed everyone's responses & questions. I haven't been able to find out anything on my line & would like to know if anyone has any information. My great grandfather was John Henry Rogers. I can't find out how when he came to North FL, or from where he came, but he shows up in the 1900's census in Mayo, FL (Lafayette County). Fannie Mashburn was his wife, my great grandmother. There are lots of Mashburns around, but I can't find the connection to my Fannie Mashburn. Fannie was born in May, 1864 & died in May 1912. (At least that is what is on her tombstone). John Henry & Fannie divorced somewhere around 1910 or 1911. Fannie remarried in 1911 to a Hobbs.
