Surnames: Rodgers, Rogers, Harvey, Johns, Macguire, Collier Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/hgDBAIB/1750 Message Board Post: Looking for any info on my great grandpa Colonel Rodgers,born in 1877 to Solomon and Patsy Rodgers(former slaves). 1880 census has them living in Pike County, Ala. but I suspect the parents were from the Perote, Bullock area. Colonel married Luella Harvey in 1899 and had two kids, Billie(Willie) D. and C.W.(Charles Wesley), my grandad. I can't find Colonel after 1899. My great grandma remarried around 1906. Can you tell me if Colonel Rodgers died during that time period? Thanks, D.Dunn
