Rodgers, age 97, beloved wife, sister, mother and grandmother, left this earth to be in Heaven on October 27, 2003, from an extended illness. She was born September 6, 1906 in Cookeville, TN. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence W. Rodgers , four brothers and one sister. Survived by all those who truly loved her, who were truly blessed by her life and who will always miss her, daughters, Frances " Frankie " Warden , Lucille Pflug and Doris Abdulla ; grandchildren, Roger W. Warden , Robert ( Beverly ) Warden, Jim ( Sylvia ) Rodgers, Rick Fell, Mark Pflug and Joseph Abdulla ; great-grandchildren, Sherri Warden , Angela Grim , Laurie Ward , Christine Adkins , James T. Rodgers , Lisa Carter and Eric Fell ; eight great-greatgrandchildren. Edna was a long time member of the Christian Tabernacle ( now Faith Community Church ) in Canton and a devoted Christian. A private graveside service was held in Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Webb Parsons officiating. " For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, shall all be made alive."
