Although I am doing a lot of genealogy research on both my wife's family and portions of mine, I haven't a clue on where to start on the Rogers line. I was born "William Robert Rogers Jr" in Big Spring, TX in Feb of 1949. My mothers maiden name was "Joyce Nell Cleavenger". There were three children. Myself, a sister named "Pamela Kay", and another "Melissa Karen". My mother and father were divorced soon after my youngest sister was born. And, we were never given any information about our father or his family. The only things that I know is my father had some trouble with the law and spent some time in prison in Huntsville, TX. There was also some word that he may have migrated to New York later (I don't know if that is true). Now, my mother and all her family are gone. Any information on this Rogers family or suggestions would be appreciated.
