Thank you to all of you that have responded to me so far. I appreciate it. Some of your suggestions, I have already considered. And, a couple, I hadn't. For the questions: My father's name was "William Robert Rogers". according to my birth certificate, he was 21 when I was born. Which would have made his birth date approx. 1927-28, According to the available Texas Birth records online, which go back to 1926, he isn't there. And, the available divorce records only go back to 1966. And, they would have been divorced in 1951-52. Funny thing is, from what I understand, my Mother and her Mother-in-Law, were both pregnant at the same time and it was a race to see who would give birth first. And, from what I understand, I actually was in school in Big Spring with an Uncle that was the same age as me. But, they would never let anyone approach or tell us anything. Sure isn't funny now. I'm actually the oldest living member of the family I know about. I am in Kerrville, TX now, and make regular trips to Big Spring because of my job.
