He is probably going to be connected to the Doswell Rogers line in some manner. I believe that he was listed in the 1850 census as living next door to another Rogers who was definitely connected to the Doswell Rogers line. Also, other Doswell Rogers descendants were living in the adjacent Marion County, TN at that time.
