Hello, My name is Patricia Rodgers. I am looking also for descendants of George Rodgers. He was married to Callie. I have some information. And most of all I need to know if some of his children and Grandchildren are alive. I found his grave in Hemleigh, Texas. But I need a death certificate so that I may put a grave marker for he and his wife. He raised my dad. Barney Rodgers. If you have information I would love to share what I have. About that time I found changes in Rogers to Rodgers, Reed to Reid, Pearson to Pierson, Hagan to Hagen,Haggen, and one to Aggen. It has gotten so that after I do a search for the known spelling I do a soundex search for other spellings. Especially if I didn't find them where I expected them to be. Would that be Thompson Rodgers born 1810 in Shelby Co, Ky to Travis Rodgers and Elizabeth Childers? I believe he died in Mo about 1870. I don't have any information on who he married and who his children were. I would love to have them. Travis's parents came to Kentucky as Rogers, but I know my line changed to Rodgers in the census of 1810. and seemed to stay that way for several of many of his descendents. Not all though.
Would like to know if anybody's Rodgers ancestors hailed from London UK..., namely Surrey, Suffolk Karen Adelaide Australia
