    3. I also have PA Rogers. A.W. Rogers is on the 1850 census for Lawrence Co, Pulaski township. Also nearby is Samuel Rogers, could be his father. Later find his son, Barna, married in Mercer Co, IL. They all eventually settled in Pulaski Co, AR. According to a book I found on the Rootsweb Mall, A.W. or Alexander Waugh, married Sarah Sabina Cotton on Jan. 1,1849. They had 1. Barna Ben or Bim b. Oct. 17, 1849 2. Harry B b. June 18, 1851 3. Jerry Sands b. Feb. 23,1853 4. James Tunis b. Nov. 7, 1855 5. Thaddeous Kuscioska b. Nov. 7, 1856 Anyone know any of these? I have more information for the connecting family members. James William Rogers was born October 15, 1813 in Scotland, and died in November 19, 1889 in Chief Washakie Cemetery, Ft. Washakie, Lander, Wyoming. He married Ann Dryden 1836 in Hemmingford, Huntington, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Andrew Dryden and Isobel Douglas. It is a major brick wall for me on both as I can find no information on them other than what I have here. Henry and Edward enlisted in Company G of NY 153rd Regiment from Mooers. Edward was married there to Sarah Ann (LNU). Samuel's wife was Orillia PERRY (b. 1804). Before coming to Clinton County NY, they lived in VT, probably Orwell, for a period of time. Samuel ROGERS and Orillia PERRY were both born in NY. Samuel and his son Henry were possibly masons, according to family lore. They all moved to DuPage County IL by 1870, (probably right after the end of the war, as Henry married Nancy Rosetta BEARDSLEY there in 1866). Any information at all would appreciated! Bugs -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, June 17, 2000 9:35 PM To: ROGERS[email protected] Subject: [ROGERS] Irvin Rogers, Nashville, IL I havent posted this for quite some time, so maybe someone might have some information they didn't have before. I am looking for any information I can find about Irvin Rogers, born about 1802 in either North Carolina or Georgia. He was married to Celia Shaver and moved from Tennessee by wagon to Nashville, Washington Co., Illinois around 1848. Children were Levi, Mary, Julia, Virginia, Thomas, Silas, William, Valerie and John. Irvin died in Nashville in 1871. I believe I have found him in the 1840 Bedford Co., Tennessee census, but know nothing about him or his parents before that. Any information or suggestions would be grately appreciated.
