    3. I am looking for a Herbert (Herbie) Rodgers or Rogers. He probably was born around 1920 so could be still alive. Probably in Okla. or Texas. He would be my father's half-brother. Maybe he was adopted by another man if his mother married. His father (my grandfather) I guess was quite a ladies' man--he had Herbie and my father, Dewey before he married and had two daughters. My father has been looking for his family all his life. He just recently found his two half sisters and met their mother before she died. Everyone involved knows that there is another son out there somewhere. Thanks.

    2. Carol and John Rodgers
    3. Here is my brick wall. I'm pleased to see so much action on the list. Maybe someone will recognize my ancestors. Duncan Rodgers and Lucy Thompson Rodgers were from Cayuga County, NY. I know of two son, George, ca 1822, and Edward, ca 1825. There were two daughters, Jane Ann and Mary Ann, b.1820, who married Thomas Lester, and John Lester, respectively. George and Edward moved to Wisconsin just before 1850 and lived there for at least 30 years. George may have moved to California in the early 1880's. Edward stayed in Wisconsin and died in 1901. The Lester families may have lived in the Broome County area of NY in the late 1800's. Anything sound familiar? Thanks, John
