    1. [RODGERS] Rodgers surname in Carnmoney, Antrim,Ireland
    2. Nancy Jewel
    3. I have a Rodgers surname group that is from county Antrim, in the area of Carnmoney and Ballyduff, Ireland. They were members of the Carnmoney Presbyterian Church there. Their ancestry appears to go back into the area of Lisburn as well, prior to 1712, after 1712 they are in the Carnmoney area up until and after 1819. This group of Rodgers comprises a very large group of people who were the cousins of a very famous man in Carnmoney named William Fee McKinney. If anyone recognizes this Rodgers group or connects to it please e-mail me. The names of John and William are very prevalient. Nancy USA __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? 3. HI ! I think I had talked with you about the Rodgers I have found in census 1860, Cuthbert, GA. , also 1830,1840, 1850 Troup Co., GA. I had been searching for David Gary Rodgers who married Amanda Pennington and found them in Cuthbert, GA. David had also been with them in Jasper Co., GA. My ancestor was Thomas and Frederick Pennington. They moved then to Randolph Co., when Tomas Pennington died. Amanda was a daug. of Frederick. Terrill Co., later was formed, 1852 from Randolph and Lee Cos. There I found my Frederick and in Cuthbert fround Amanda mar. to David G. Rodgers. After David died I have noit searched the children. By David's age and dates of the four children listed in Census of 1860 it is certain that David had been married- including John H. Rodgers, b. 1850 . David and Amanda were married July 25, 1852. Joseph P. was born in 1855. That is what I have now. I know in the early 1900's Amanda was in FL . That may give some areas that you can check if this sounds ok with you. Some have told me that the children went into AL. but she was living with Joseph in FL Marie-Mobile ----- Original Message ----- From: <Cherokeeindian77@aol.com> To: <RODGERS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 3:50 PM Subject: [RODGERS] Subj: Rodgers/Rogers/Roggers > > Hi Everyone, > > Just been looking again through the 1870 index of the census, > > I have noticed these names: > > Bartholomew Rogers, 50 yrs. white born Ireland living in Big Coon Jackson > County Al. > > Has anyone got any info. on this family?
