two more places to put it (for those who will come looking for that information ... and want it correct ) upload at least a sketchy genealogy to Rootsweb's WorldConnect put a message also on the Genforum(s) applicable, both the surname one(s) and the state or county one; don't forget to post to the maternal surname as well as paternal http://genforum.genealogy.com/ fill in the surname or location not many people talk about accessing the Genforums, but I have found good hints there -- the message board stays UP and you can follow the discussions ... it's also easily searchable by keyword ... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sharon Workman" <workman@dreamscape.com> To: <ROCKINGCHAIR-ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: June 10, 2003 02:42 PM Subject: Re: [RC-ROOTS] doldrums > " The only information I have ever seen published on my great grandfather > is incorrect -- although taken from an old well known and much quoted family > history. I could not believe I neglected to change the subject line from "doldrums" to "correcting information." Thanks for pointing it out, "Gold." I am shaking my head over my that one!!!! I fuss and fuss when people do not change the subject line to match the subject. I want to save things and the subject line doesn't match the subject. (Or sometimes I probably don't read things that would be helpful because the subject is not something I am interested in, so I go along and merrily deleted good stuff. ) And now I've been a perpetrator!!! Please everyone forgive me, and I will be more forgiving you if you slip up in the future.
