The HANDYBOOK, as I said before, is a must for me. I too bought the 8th edition ($19.95) and have used it a lot, but the first one I split up is still a great reference tool with the street maps, library data, etc. I filed with ea. State. I presume Everton still has their offices in Nibley UT. I don't subscribe to the GENEALOGICAL HELPER any more but we have visited their library in Utah several times. Had to go there when we went to the FHL in Salt Lake! We bought our first computer from them - a Kay-Pro simply because it would run the old computer program they were selling at the time (in the 1980's). It is/was built like a tank! We still have it....stashed away....promised the Historical Society we'd give it to them (some day). One time when we were in the library they were offering the outdated Kay-Pro computers for $100 - their HANDYBOOK (with slight flaws) for $1.00 ea. I didn't buy another computer but did buy several HANDYBOOKs and gave to friends. juanita > Juanita, I will second that.
