Hi Rosemary, I got the two baptismal certificates from the Catholic Archdioceses of Atlanta, Georgia archives: The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception MARY ELIZABETH O' HARA b Mar.3, 1873 Baptized May 9, 1873 In Gainesville Georgia Sponsors J.P.Byers & Maria C. Bone I have a feeling the above child did not survive, as the second was also named ELIZABETH but with a different middle name. ELIZABETH AGNES O' HARA b Jan.1, 1875 Baptized Feb 13, 1875 Sponsors Michael Kane & Bridget Doyle Parents ROBERT EMMETT O' HARA (Yes, there was indeed a middle name, but sometimes it was left out depending on where he lived) ELIZABETH O' HARA nee VERNON As I said the mother and ELIZABETH AGNES O' HARA were back in Belfast, Ireland by 1898.......it's possible that they left the States before the census.
