    3. Good Morning, Debby, As usual, sorting the family papers into some semblance of order is quite a chore. Thomas H. Robblee's first wife was Anna Mahan and thery were married in the USA. Now as to his second wife, Cora. Was her maiden name Summer, and her first husband, Warman? The IGI records their first marriage in 1895 in the USA. Years ago, I corresponded with George H. Clark and I have included his family with ours. Jane Penman Robblee was Jonathan's sister. The others mentioned are from the Annapolis branch of the family. Hope you get the gedcom open. Hope to hear from you soon. I see that there is still more to sort about Jonathan and Sarah's family. Unfortunately they are all combined in the one box. I have a partial letter written by Helen Redmond Easler daughter of May Robblee and John Redmond. There is no date on the letter nor to whom it is addressed, and part of this delicate paper is ripped away. " ...I think it would be nicer for you and Grace to write yourselves to Mrs. Margaret B. King, Sussex, Kings County, N.B. She is Secretary of the whole thing. That bunch of the family trace their ancestry back to Edmund Price born in N.Y. June 14, 1757. He married Jane Webb, daughter of George and Jerusha Webb of Woodbridge, N. Jersey. I have a copy of the will of Edmund Price and his children were George Webb Price, Allen Price, James Price, Edmund John, Dennis and the daughters Jane, Phoebe, Mary, Elizabeth, Deborah and Jerusha. Mama wrote me that our grandmother, Sarah Cushing was born in Hingham, a descendant of Mathew Cushing who came over in the Mayflower. Papa once had a list of all the names from Mathew Cushing down to Sarah Cushing. They can be obtained in the Hingham records as Papa got them there. Sarah Cushing married William Price of N.Y. and they went to Sussex, N.B. to live. Both died in their 86th year. Sarah Cushing's Aunt Nancy was Abraham L! incoln's mother. Mama says that her own uncle William Price was the dead image pf Abraham Lincoln. I think your father can tell you more. Why don't you go down to Hingham and get a copy of everything and then you can get the records of Grandma Robblee and your father and will have a dear ( or clear- can't make out the writing) chance to join the Mayflower Club and perhaps the D. O. R. ( or D. A. I....again can't make out). You would enjoy those things here. When you write to Mrs. King give her any information you can. I have an idea this Edmund Price, who married Jane Webb, was a brother to William Price who married Sarah Cushing, Well, I must quit writing as I have just got my bread out of the oven and now must get dishes done before the water gets cold. Give my love to all the folks there and to the folks in N.Y. when you write. Love Helen and Hollis" Hope this is of use to someone! ..partial letter - no date but written by Julia Duke " J.W.Duke Hannah Belle Robblee Clarke Wallace Duke Almedia Mabel Duke Thomas Irvine Duke Julia Cora May Duke Jennie Kathleen Duke Maude Mildred Duke So you know your mother's family. So we have many relatives. I do not know how many Prices - my grandmother was Sarah, she had a sister Betsy & one married to a Wallace. We must be related to people in Moncton we do not know. It would be fun to find out. Have you located my mother's picture yet- the one with me when I was 12 or 13 it was real good. She wore glasses & a plush hat. I had on one too. Love Julia" an old typed paper ..no date. " Near Relatives of Abe Lincoln Several Moncton Women Cousins of The Former United States President The Boston Globe of Recent date contained the following paragraph:- Miss Mabel Redmond of Clinton Mass., residing at Leighton Avenue and a student of South Lancaster Academy is, it was learned to-day a distant relative of Abraham Lincoln. Miss Redmond's great grandmother whose name was Price was a sister to Nancy Hanks the mother of Abe Lincoln. Mrs. Sarah Price Robblee is the grandmother of Miss Mabel Redmond who is a bright studious girl, standing high in her classes is a favorite among the students in the Academy. Mrs. Sarah Price Robblee referred to in Boston Globe paragraph resides with her daughter Mrs. John W. Duke, Dominion Street this city. She has lived in Moncton nearly all her life, being the relict of the late Jonathan Robblee a former well known I.C.R. employee. Mrs. Robblee's maiden name was Price and she is the sister of the late Tyler Price who spent a greater part of his life in the city and parish of Moncton. Mrs. Sarah Robblee has two sisters living in Moncton Mrs. Thomas Mitton and Mrs. Henry Wallace both of whom reside on High Street. The mother of the Moncton woman referred to was a sister to Nancy Hanks, Abe Lincoln's mother, which would make Mrs. Robblee and her brothers and sisters first cousins of the distinguished dead president of the United States whose birthday anniversary was recently celebrated by the republic. Miss Mabel Redmond referred to in the Boston Globe is a daughter of John Redmond a former Provincialist who is married to one of Mrs. Robbleee's daughters.
