The following is a message received from one of the key Rootsweb administrators working on the migration of the mailing lists: "The issues AOL had in accepting email from lists9 appear to be resolved. The migration will resume on Monday, August 28. The migration schedule has been updated to reflect this change." Based on the revised schedule, I expect the following: DETLING-L (and D-) will be migrated on Monday, August 28. This is the list I maintain with the fewest subscribers, and only one is on AOL. ROBLEE-L (and D-) will be migrated on Monday, September 5. This list has more than 50 subscribers, several on AOL. If there are problems when Rootsweb lists start migrating again, the schedule will surely be revised. I am hopeful that this transition will go smoothly. Once the lists are migrated, I will prepare a message on how to send messages to the list (actually it doesn't change much from what we have been doing). in the Meantime, if you have questions about this, feel free to send a message to the list, and I'll reply to each list.
