Born in Karsdale, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Myrtie (Robblee) Porter. She had received her 50 year pin from the Rebekah Lodge, was an avid quilter and enjoyed needlework. She is survived by brother, Arthur (Jean) Porter, Guelph, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John "Raymond"; infant daughters, Anna Jean and Margaret Rose; sisters, Margaret Dean, Marion Troop, Rena Morgan; brothers, Leander Porter and Edgar Porter. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. today, funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, August 31, both in Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Father Tom Vaughan officiating.
