North Creek.. Jay "Junior" Freebern Jay "Jr" Freebern, 78, of North Creek passed away on Dec. 7, 2005 at Glens Falls Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born Feb.19,1927, in North Creek, he was the son of the late Henry and Addie(ROBLEE) Freebern. It goes on to say he was a lifelong resident of the area, attended North Creek Central School and was in the Navy in WW2. He married Julia Moriarty on July 9, 1949. He and his brother, Gene operated Freebern's Plumbing and heating for more than 30 years. It goes on with more of his community service, etc. Besides his parents, his five brothers, Henry, Carson, Hugh, Gene and Hartsel Freebern and two sisters Loretta Freebern and LouiseROBLEE, have all predeceased him. He and Julia have 2 children, Joseph and Connie 4 sisters survive him..Agnes Villeneuve,Mary Cornwall,Jane Swinton and Ann Porter..It mentions the brother in law, Donald ROBLEE as still surviving.
