Good Morning, Shirley, I believe that I can help you with information on Jane Penman, b 1783 - 28 Nov 1864, in Charlottetown, married Joseph Robblee, who died in 1828 in Tryon, PEI. Thomas Gamble was a witness to part of Joseph Robblee's will and the PEI marriage records show her marrying him 13 Jan 1830. Hutchinson's Directory of 1861 lists Thomas Gamble, Cloth Dresser, aged 21-45, in Charlottetown living with a woman 60+. My thoughts would be Jane, now a widow, and a son by the same name as her second husband. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other Rob[b]lee connections. Both families seem to have lived opposite each other in PEI and NB. HOpe to hear from you soon. Bob Robblee
Bob! This is so exciting! I'll get back to you later today after I check through my other records. I know I have questions..
