The Flint Michigan mention was of interest to me. My ancestor, Hannah Roblee, daughter of Samuel Roblee and Mariam Hinckley and wife of David S. Daniels died in Flint Michigan on 17 July 1889. I believe she was living with her sone Joshua T. Daniels. -----Original Message----- From: roblee-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:roblee-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Alger and Walcott Family Sent: Saturday, February 03, 2007 7:52 PM To: roblee@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [ROBLEE] Phebe? I missed this when I posted last weekend. Thanks for the detail on Phebe Ann. She is almost certainly the daughter of the Samuel and Marion Roblee you mention as being buried beside her son. I cannot find any sign of an Alvin Crippen in earlier censes, or on the internet. I agree that Mary may be the daughter of Philip and Eunice, although the details are not a perfect fit with census records for Philip. Hello, All, I must add something to this discussion. I have: Phebe Ann Robblee, 8 May 1813- 23 Jul 1900, d Flint, MI. bur Avondale Cem. Flint. married 21 Jul 1852 at Burke, Franklin, NY. Simeon Montague, 9 Oct 1803- aft 1886, his second wife. Their son, Simeon Calvin Montague, 11 Sept 1853 - 20 May 1865, buried in Burke, buried beside Samuel and Marion Robblee. Their dau. Cora Minerva, 4 Nov 1854, b at Burke. I have come across one record that mentions Phebe Ann was first married to Alvin Crippen? Her brother, Nathan, was also at Flint. Mary "Polly" Robblee, 14 Jul 1811 - 26 Aug 1879 at Victory, NY married 25 Jul 1838 at Ft. Ann, Wa. Co. NY. Benjamin Jakway, 11 Sep 1807 - 11 Aug 1879 at Victory, NY. Source, Genealogy.com. The 1820 Cenus records Nathaniel and John Roblyer at Ulysses, Thomkins, NY. I have not found any Nathaniels in the Roblyer lineage. Do we know the exact dates of the various censuses? People might have been missed around these times. I think the above Phebe and Polly were the daughters of Phillip and Eunice Robblee. The 1820 Census record for Nathanael Robblee is interesting. Would the second male over 45 possibly be his brother, Luther? And were the 2 males under 10, Julius Scott and William Orson? Did not their father, William? pass on in 1820? Was the oldest girl, Phebe? All interesting tidbits of stray info. If anyone has anything further, please let me know and HOpe to hear from you soon.
