The "Carpenter" I allude to is a manuscript by G. W. Carpenter, entitled "Descendents of Ruben and Phebe Roblee. 1949. Based on the Notes of Mrs. Clarence Jones, Historian of Minerva, NY". There are several versions of this floating around. The copy I first obtained is in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. I have no idea who G. W. Carpenter actually was!!
