I have tried to identify this Huldah. I figure she must have been a Lanesborough, MA woman. Unfortunately, the early Lanesborough records burned, so we don't have a lot to go on. Records of births for two women named Huldah are contained in the early Lanesborough records: Huldah Bacon, b. 9 Oct 1761, daughter of Nathaniel and Anna; and Huldah Smith, b. 15 Jun 1757, daughter of Joel and Phebe. I have not been able to trace these women -- but admit I haven't tried strenously. Still, I have always wondered. There are 3 things I did notice in the will of Thomas. 1- It was made/signed 26 May 1825. 2- Thomas mentions this mysterious Hulda himself as a former wife- not the wife of Luther Roblee as mentioned in our Northup notes. So, that clears up one issue. 3- If the will was probated in 1831- and Abigail is petitioned as an interested party, then she could't have died in July 1825- as has been our family "Lore" Thank-you guys. I think I'm understanding my family a little better now. Wish someone would check on this Chloe Roblee aforementioned, as the possible 1st wife of Reynolds, and her stat's as to birth/death/children? This would then give me a whole picture of my ggg grandfather.(Reynolds) All my graditude, Theresa. PS. Sending photo's of Chloe Everts Northup-Blythe and family Also a pic of one of her son's- Albert W. Blythe with 2 of his cousins-Blythe. Sincerely, Theresa.
