I am the ggg grand-daughter of Reynolds Knowles Northup, of Slyboro, Granville, NY. Someone had sent me your ROBLEE rootsewb address and suggested I write to you, as to the fact that Abigail's husband's name was Unknown and forgotten. Don't feel badly about it- Reynolds 1st and 2nd wives were lost to this family as well. As I was reseaching him, I stubbled across the Abigail Roblee site, and now know the identity of his 2nd wife. Reynolds 1st married a Chloe-last name unknown, in 1811/1812, she & baby died during childbirth. Reynolds 2nd marriage was to Abigail Roblee in 1815/1816. They had 3 chidren together and she died during the birth of their 3rd child on July 19,1825. Children of Reynolds K. Northup & Abigail Roblee are : 1- Mary Knowles Northup b) 1817 at Slyboro, Granville, NY. d) 1901 at Ontario Center, Wayne Co, NY. She married Feb.28,1836 Alvah J. Atwood, of Ontario Center-However his parents were from Hartford, NY(Selah Atwood & Amy Straight)- a hamlet of Granville. She had 7 children. She-husband and 3 of her children are buried at Ontario Village Cemetery, Ontario Center, Wayne Co.* see pic's. 2- Joseph Evarts Northup b) 1819 at Slyboro, Granville, NY. d) 1909 at Ontario Center, Wayne Co. NY. He married Aug.19,1839 Charlotte Webb, of Ontario Center, Wayne Co. He had 1 daughter- Mary Adella "adell" in censuses. All are buried at Ontario Village Cemetery, Ontario Ceneter, Wayne Co.* Pic's 3- Chloe Evarts Northup b) July 19, 1825 at Slyboro, Granville, NY. d) June 28, 1889 at Ontario Center, Wayne Co. NY. She married Aug. 9,1843 Rev. William James Blythe, of England & Ontario Center She had 5 children, 4 boys and 1 daughter who died at 16 mo's (Mary) She-husband and 2 of her children are buried at "Pioneer" Cemetery, Ontario Center, Wayne Co. Abigail 1791 * Note: Abigail's grand-parents land-"Evarts" was adjacent to Reynolds' father's property in Slyboro- known as the Clarke Northup farm- adjacent to the "Evarts Land" * Abigail is believed to be buried at North Creek, Warren Co.
