Daniels). I was born in Flint, Michigan where three of Samuel's children - Hannah Daniels, Nathan Rablee and Phoebe Ann (Rablee) (Crippen) Montague resided, died and are buried. Here is the information I have gleaned concerning Samuel and his children: SAMUEL3 ROBBLEE (REUBEN2 ROBLEE, WILLIAM1 RUBLEAR) was born Abt. 1777 in Lanesborough, Berkshire Co., Massachusetts, and died November 07, 1864 in Burke, Franklin Co., New York. He married MARIAM HINKLEY Abt. 1797 in Granville, Washington Co., New York, daughter of SAMUEL HINKLEY. She was born Abt. 1779, and died July 22, 1841 in Burke, Franklin Co., New York. Samuel Rablee served in the War of 1812 in Company R, Pliny Adams' Regiment. He fought in the Battle of Lake Champlain, September 11-23, 1814. His burial stone is missing - Samuel Robblee died Nov. 7, 1864 AE 87 years, Barnum Cemetery, Town of Burke, Franklin Co., New York. CRIPPEN: Burial: December 1850, Barnum Cemetery, Burke, Franklin Co., New York SIMEON MONTAGUE: Moved to Michigan in 1837 and was elected town clerk at the first town meeting in Springport. A lake near that town was named for him, and still bears the name of Montague Lake. At the end of two years, he returned to Massachusetts; about 1852, after the death of his first wife, settled in northern New York. In 1867, he again moved to Michigan and settled in the town of Flint. He was the frist inventor of the sewing machine used in sewing boots and shoes, which invention he sold to E. A.
