Amby Robblee was admitted to the Truthville Baptist Church in N. Granville 10 Sep 1831. On 17 Aug 1834, a letter of dismissal was granted. He was dropped from fellowship on 8 Jun 1838. He apparently went to Michigan where an Amby Roblee (Ambly H. Robier), age 40, was living in Bunker Hill, Ingham Co., in 1850 in the household of Thomas and Adaline Clough. In 1860, he is listed as A. H. Roblee, age 52, born in VT. He was living in Bunker Hill, Ingham Co., MI. In the home were M. A. Roblee, female, age 34, born in NY; J. W., male, age 13; M. H., male, age 11; and A. F., male, age 9, all born in Michigan. He was still there in 1870, listed as Amby Roblee, age 62, born in VT. His wife was Sarah, age 56, born in NY. Also in the home was Hattie A. Roblee, age 9, born in Michigan. Hattie may well be the child of Amby and Sarah. In 1880, he was living in Leslie, Ingham, MI with his wife Sarah. Jan 1850 in NY, d. 23 Jun 1917 in Delta Co., CO. Putting Morgan Roblee in this family is speculation, based on his marriage in Michigan. In 1870, Morgan and Vina Roblee were living in Girard, Branch, MI. Morgan was 19, and Vina only 14. They were living next door to George and Martha Webber, Vina's parents. Morgan's place of birth is given as NY. In 1880, Vina (Webber) Roblee was 23, living with her parents (George and Martha Webber), her brother Willard G. Webber (age 21) and her daughter Ida Roblee in Girard, Branch, MI. Ida was 9, born in Michigan. In 1907, she is listed as a dressmaker in the city directory for Coldwater, MI. She was living in Coldwater at the time of the 1900 census. She was 43, born Sep 1856. She was working as a dressmaker. Daughter Ida was living with her. She was 21, born Sep 1871. Vina's brother Willard Webber was living with them. Vina's marital status is listed as divorced. In 1910, Vina was living alone in Coldwater. Vina (Webber) Roblee married second, Daniel G. Parker, on 14 Jan 1915 in Coldwater, MI. Morgan Rublee appears to have removed to Colorado. In 1900, a Mr. Roblee was living in Ouray, Ouray C., CO. His first name is not clear, but may be Am. Was he using his middle name? Perhaps Amby? A Morgan A. Rublee was granted a land patent in Delta Co., Colorado on 31 Oct 1912. At the time of the 1910 census, he was living in Wayne, Delta Co., CO where he is clearly listed as Martin A. Roblee. He was 58, born in NY. He was a railway conductor. His wife was Mary, age 50, born in PA. Both Morgan and Mary said they were 30 when they first married. A daughter Ina, age 23, born in CO, was in the home. Her father was born in NY and her mother in PA, so she would appear to be the child of this couple. Mary had two children, one living. A Morgan A. Roblee died 23 Jun 1917 and is buried in Delta Cemetery, Delta Co., CO. In the same cemetery is Mary Roblee, died 14 Oct 1922. A second wife? He married (1) Vina C. Webber, 20 Jan 1870 in MI,1 b.
