    3. I have seen this variation in this country as well. Here is a question -- do we limit ourselves to names we are pretty sure are related - or do we branch out to names that have a similar sound? There are endless variations. For instance, if we have included the variation Robleyer, then I think we have to include Raplee, as it seems pretty certain that a branch of the Robleyer family changed their name to Raplee -- the Milo, Yates County, NY group. Then, what to do about Rapalje and its variations??? There is also the name Roblin. I wrote to a woman in Ontario several years ago, and concluded that this name is not related. Opinions?
