Dear All, A couple of weeks or so ago, I mentioned that we should consider posting gedcoms to the Rootsweb Worldconnect project. The reason I say we, rather than perhaps one of us whom has most of the family on file, is that some of the early ties are rather tentative than proven. And I may not have heard back from all of you who may have objections. As some of you are aware, I prefer to have our family information posted anyplace people may be looking so as to readily enlarge our family tree. I have to make up a new Gedcom based on the additions and corrections that have arrived during the past year. Therefore, I thought to make up one consisting of the descendents of John Robblee, his brother Thomas, and show them as the sons of Andrew Rublier, mentioning, of course that this tie is a guess rather than proven. Rootsweb does not publish information on anyone born within the last hundred years. This should alleviate any concerns about privacy. Control of the gedcom remains with the user. By doing this this way, anyone else could add their information in the form they wish, or not. Or, they could post a separate gedcom to the site, totally under their jurisdiction.
