    3. Hi All, It's still winter here although the official start of spring is next week. Deanne, my daughter, is in Mali, Africa experiencing temperatures of 30-38 degrees Celius. I suggested we find a way to exchange some of those degrees to remove the extremes at either place. I want to propose a couple of thoughts based on the Census records that I've seen. The 1790 Census for Granville shows only Reuben and Thomas. These 2 are the sons of Reuben and Phoebe, I would say. Nathanael must have arrived in the area after 1790. I don't believe that any of the older generation were ever listed here as heads of families and this was a question that I have wrestled with for several years. Somewhere in the census records I have seen, I believe the 1810 Census lists Nathanael as having 2 sons. Last week I mentioned that I believed that one was William, first husband of Malintha Baker. I now propose the other son was Phil's ancestor, Calvin. This is based on the fact that I don't believe any other family member was living in that area at that time. I would also say that the Mary Robblee that married Benjamin Jakway in 1838 at Ft. Ann, NY was part of this family. She was born in 1811, so it may be difficult to find her family, whether Nathanael's or his son William. Also, after reviewing a list of family members for the other Calvin, which I got from Phyllis, done by her grandmother, I believe that we can place the Chloe Ann Roblee, married William Wasson in this family. There were 2 Chloe's in that family, one having died young. Dates for the other are very close to what Eola Clark has sent us. There has also been some re-alignment of families from Nova Scotia who emigrated to the Rhode Island area, based on Census findings and one Suzanne Robblee has me tracking the descendents of a Thomas Robblee, dentist in Cleveland ca 1950 who was born in PEI. It has been quite a week, with various bits of information kind of coming together. There will be some comments on my thoughts, I am quite sure. Looking forward to hearing them, and HOpe to hear from you soon. Bob
