Hi All, Much has happened this month and I am still trying to comprehend all of it. My daughter, Deanne was to return to Montreal the morning of Sept. 11. They were just leaving here and had heard about the crash into the World Trade Centre. We got the tv on and saw the crashes. And knew the world had just changed. As the day continued, our hearts went out to all those victims, alive and dead. Deanne got back to Montreal the following Friday morning. And I still have one question rattling in the back of my mind about the event. The second tower was hit about 55 minutes after the first plane veered off course and the Pentagon after that. Why did't civil aviation controllers notify the military sooner and possibly prevent the second and third crashes? The heroes on the Pennsylvania flight had time and acted, I believe. I hope that the authorities investigating this tragedy find all the evidence needed to bring the culprits to justice and that that will happen. I had a note from Edward M. Robblee about a sudden death in his family. His daughter, Angela, passed away about 10 days ago, leaving 3 children. As I pass this on to the list, I hope for Ed and his family, that the path after this passing will be as smooth as possible. And on a genealogical note, while wandering around on the internet, I have found some information on people that may be related but that I cannot place. Edna Roblee, b ca 1890, married Jefferson Fulton, b 19 Oct 1862, Ark. d 1952. Beatrice Angela Roblee, b ca 1890, married 1 Jan 1950, Richard Capel Breckett, b 4 Dec 1886- 15 Jan 1954. Problably a second marriage. Susan Roblee married Alfred Paul Britton Jr. Family of 4, Holly Fane, Mary Hannah, Joshua Paul, Joyce Carissa. James John Roblee married Marcia Ann Lanphear. Family is James [Jamie] Christopher married Deidta Dedee Moulton, son Jerry Wesley Roblee Karen Roblee, married Ralph Dafoe, second Bill Andrews, and has a daughter, Ashleigh Andrews. Beatrice Roblee married Robert Cassidy. Any information on these would be appreciated. I hope our leaders have the grit necessary to bring the perpetrators of Sept. 11 to justice and that safeguards will be enacted to prevent a reoccurance.
