Hello All, Just some ongoing thoughts about the origins of Phil's Calvin. As mentioned before, I would now say he is the son of Reuben Roblee and Molly Everts. As you mentioned, Cindy, there were extras at the home of Thomas II in 1840. If they were Calvin's children, it would stand to reason that he was Calvin's brother. Future arrangements of which we may never know, would include them in Luther's will. Laura Everts obviously re-married after Calvin's death and circumstances may have meant that the kids stayed behind. Her second husband was gone by the time of the 1880 census where she is listed as MotherL to Edwin Cornwell whose wife is Melvina [Roblee]. Wisconsin and Western NY. were destinations various family members settled, moved back and forth, in no set family groups. We get to sort it all out. Another thought for this Monday AM. All these Calvins and Chloes got me looking at another record. One of the sons of William Wasson and Chloe Ann Roblee {family tie for her has not been established as yet?} was Calvin Oliver Wasson. I would suggest that she is a daughter of Calvin Robblee and Fanny who was ths son of Thomas and Chloe. My files also show a marriage of a Dimus? Roblee to a Jehiel Hollister and I think that she too would be a daughter of Calvin and Fanny's. Let me know your thoughts and HOpe to hear from you soon. Bob
