Philippa, In your book, is there a George Robinson, b. abt 1802 in Virginia (or possibly Ireland, according to his children). My earliest document on him is the 1850 census. His first child was born 1844 in Missouri, his wife, Nancy Dixon, was born abt 1822 in Ohio. Because of the age difference between George and Nancy I suspect Nancy may have been his second wife. I am also looking for a William Isaac Robinson, b . abt 1858/1859 in Missouri, Texas or Arkansas. We DO know he married Melvina but her maiden name is either Robertson or King. I've been told William's parents are Isaac Robinson and Mary Gibson, both b. in AR. I have been searching census records like crazy but this family is hard to find. But maybe Isaac and Mary Gibson Robinson show up in your book. Any of these names in your book?
