I am looking for George Robinson or George Harrison Robinson who I believe is my great grandfather Leroy Robinson's father. I found George Robinson in 1870 census with Elizabeth as wife, a daughter Ellen, sons William and Leroy in Ritchie County Name: George Robinson Age: 35 Estimated birth year: <1845> Birthplace: Virginia Occupation: Farmer Relationship to head-of-household: Self Home in 1880: Tygart, Wood, West Virginia Marital status: Married Race: White Gender: Male Spouse's name: Lizzie Robinson Father's birthplace: VA Mother's birthplace: VA Ellen 16 William 14 Leroy 11 Emma 4 Elizabeth Robinson full name was Sarah Elizabeth Clifton. She had a sister Mary Frances Clifton Riley who died in 1878 of the black t fever and I found where she is buried in Clarksburg, WV Sarah supposedly died from the fever too. George remarried a Mrs. Eliza Barnes in Wood county on 12/20/1881. I am trying to locate when and where George died and is burried. I know they had at least one son together - Grandma told me his name was Homer - but I have not been able to find them in the census. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
